Plush elephants, unicycling, jokes and laughter.
That’s what you’re going to experience in Coldplay’s most recent video for their hit single, “Paradise”.
Even though the new video isn’t as inventive when it comes to visual effects, the army of fans can’t seem to get enough of it. If you’re wondering what the deal is with the elephants, you should know that all of the Coldplayers turn to adorable elephants who just burst out of jail.
“Paradise” is the official single off their upcoming fifth studio album, “Mylo Xyloto”, which is also rumored to be their last (really rooting it’s not, I personally can’t get enough of them). The album is set for release on October 24th, 2011, so be sure to mark the date and go out to buy a copy.
Oddly enough, even though the song has managed to be amongst the top ten songs in several European countries, “Paradise” has yet to become “chart eligible” in the UK. On the other side of the ocean, however, the single peaked at #16 only to plummet down to #68. Hopefully, the new music video will help boost the sales, cause it is indeed a really cool song.
The new “Paradise” music video is directed by the same Mat Whitecross, who directed plenty of Coldplay’s previous videos, despite the rumor that Hype Williams supposed to direct this video.
The other one, who sings.
